Fernandes signs defence cooperation agreement in Prague
New Delhi, Oct 22: India has signed a wide-ranging defence cooperation agreement with Czech Republic to constitute a joint committee on defence to meet annually.

constitute a joint committee on defence to meet annually.
The agreement was signed by the Defence Minister George
Fernandes with his Czech counterpart Miroslav Kostelka in
Prague today, according to a Defence Ministry release here.
Fernandes now on a visit to Czech Republic also met Prime Minister Vladimir Spidia and visited the Tetra truck factory where trucks for the Indian army are manufactured.
The Defence Minister also witnessed a live demonstration by a frontline Czech unit specialising in nuclear, biological and chemical counter measures.
