Arguments on charges in Bofors case to begin on July 27
Aguments on charge in the Rs 64 crore Bofors pay-off case against the three Hinduja brothers and three others will start on July 27 with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday submitting in writing before the trial court that copies of all the documents had been provided to all the accused.

In his order, special judge R L Chugh said that arguments on charge would begin on a day-to-day basis after the accused and their counsel scrutinised the documents in the intervening time.
In the other case, running simultaneously against the co-accused, the CBI submitted that extradition proceedings against Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrochhi was in progress in a Malayasian court. A red corner alert had been sounded through the Interpol against former Bofors Chief Martin Ardbo. The court put up the case for hearing on August 7.
