New Delhi, Aug 12: Dismissing news reports that it was contemplating moving Supreme Court against the minority judgement in the WLL issue, Government today termed them as "unfounded and baseless". "The Government respects the judgement delivered by Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal in the WLL matter. The judgement of TDSAT is by majority," an official statement said here.

The official word from Department of Telecom comes in the wake of media reports that the Department was exploring the possibility of challenging in the apex court, the dissenting opinion given by Justice Wadhwa, in the ruling on limited mobility.
"The reports appearing in the Press indicating that the Government is contemplating some action against the minority judgement, are unfounded and baseless," DoT said. Bureau Report
