Infiltration bid foiled in J&K, three JeM ultras shot dead
Srinagar, Oct 10: Army today foiled an infiltration bid by a group of Jaish-e-Mohammad militants, killing three ultras near the Line of Control in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said.

Troops of 11 Jat and 17 Infantry Brigades noticed a group of militants near the LoC in Chattarnar area and challenged them, he said.
The militants opened fire and in the gunbattle that ensued three JeM ultras were killed, the spokesman said.
Two AK assault rifles, one pistol and a large quantity of ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, he added.
