New Delhi, Mar 28: The inquiry report of the reported altercation between labour minister Sahib Singh Verma and staff of Jet Airways on March 25 at Mumbai airport is believed to have been submitted today to the civil aviation ministry. The probe was conducted by Deputy Director of Civil Aviation Kanu Gohain following directions by the ministry. As part of his inquiry, Gohain questioned the three Jet Airways staff, including the customer relations manager Minal Naik, who allegedly faced the wrath of the minister following a delay in the flight. He also queried the duty manager Mohan Menon and duty officer on tarmac Zafar Mulla besides the cockpit and cabin crew of the Delhi-bound flight, which had to return to the Bay as the runway was closed due to sudden drop in visibility, for questioning.

Gohain could not be contacted as he had left for Australia to attend a meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
