Cancun, Sept 13: A six-member Pakistan industry delegation had detailed discussions with apex chamber CII here to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and sought help from Indian industry in dealing with organisational and WTO issues and checking flooding of spurious Chinese products in Pakistan. The delegation, which had an hour-long meeting with CII delegation led by its secretary general Tarun Das also had detailed discussion on strengthening bilateral cooperation and implications of India-Thailand free trade agreement as Pakistan also proposed to sign similar agreements.
The India-Thailand free trade agreement is expected to boost Japanese investment in India through its subsidiaries in Thailand.

A 15-member Pakistani business delegation is to visit India through Wagah Border tomorrow to participate in Indo-Pak CEO forum organised by CII in New Delhi next week.
