Jaipur, Oct 21: A Muslim social organisation today criticised the Centre for withdrawing travel subsidy to those going for Haj pilgrimage for second time and those paying Income Tax. President of Anjuman Khadim-Ul-Hujjaj Rajasthan Mohammad Yaseen Dehlvi said in a statement here that letters had been sent to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Union Minister Vinod Khanna and Central Haj Committee chairman Rashid Mir, demanding restoration of the subsidy.

Dehlavi said facility of free stay of pilgrims in Tonk rub Aat in Macca had also been withdrawn. If the Centre failed to take a positive decision over the subsidy, Anjuman would launch an agitation, he added.
