London, We heard about the possibility that Mark Webber might replace Juan Pablo Montoya at Williams in 2005.
Now it seems that Marc Gené might be heading to Jaguar, especially that negotiations between Alexander Wurz and the 'Big Cat' seem to be slowing down.
One of Jaguar's main sponsor is HSBC Bank, while Alexander's major backer is Superfund... the two companies are not necessarily very compatible.
Another rumour links Jenson Button to Williams in 2005, in case Mark Webber is unable to join the team. Button started his F1 career at Williams and the relationship between the Grove-based team and the British driver remains excellent.
However, Jenson is still under contract with BAR for 2004, with an option to stay with the team in 2005.
