Rs 2.5 crore to develop Aadi Badri as tourist spot
Yamunanagar, May 25: Centre will release Rs 2.5 crore for the development of the town`s Aadi Badri area, said to be the place of origin of River Saraswati, as a tourist and religious spot.

Making the announcement here today, Union Tourism and
Culture Minister Jagmohan said a sum of Rs one crore would be
utilised for the development of a museum of martial arts named
after Guru Gobind Singh at Kapa Mochan and about Rs 1.5 crore
to set up a museum and water body (kund) at Saraswati Sangam
to enable the pilgrims have a dip in it.
Excavations are being carried out in the area for the
last one year and several historical things had been
recovered from the sites, he said.
