Urs Erbacher of Switzerland, Michael Malmgren and Roger Pettersson of Sweden and Roel Koedam of Netherlands became European champions at the NitroOlympics drag racing meet on Hockenheim's quarter mile track on Sunday (August 24).
Peter Beck of Switzerland won a really close Top Fuel final beating Tommy Moeller of Sweden. Koedam beat Peter Bossert of Switzerland in the Top Fuel bike final.
Erbacher won the Top Methanol Funny Car final when Niclas Andersson of Sweden did not make it to the start line. Peter Schoefer of Germany won the Top Methanol dragster final from David Wilson of Great Britain.
Malmgren won the Pro Stock Car final from Magnus Hansson of Sweden. Roger Pettersson of Sweden won the Pro Stock bike final from Anders Larsson of Sweden who was shown the redlight for starting early.
