Imphal, July 07: Two Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) militants were shot dead in an encounter with the Assam Rifles personnel in Manipur's Thoubal district this morning, official sources said. The sources said the encounter between the 28 Assam Rifles personnel and KCP militants took place at Kshetri Leikai two km from Thoubal Police Station. One 9 mm pistol, some live ammunition and a KCP demand letter was recovered from the spot, they said. Bureau Report
