Police interrogate several persons for clues on Ghatkopar case
Mumbai, July 31: Police today interrogated several people to gather clues on the Monday night bomb blast which ripped off a best bus in suburban Ghatkopar, killing three persons and injuring over 40 others, police said.

"We have still not arrested or detained any person so
far. But several people have been picked up for questioning,"
City Police Commissioner R S Sharma told a news agency here.
Meanwhile, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police,
Crime (Thane) Amar Jadhav, Thane police have also picked up
some people for interrogation in the combing operation
launched last night in the satellite town to flush out
terrorists and anti-social elements.
"Similar operations would be taken up soon," he added. The combing operation was undertaken in keeping with the decision taken at the high-level meeting convened by Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on July 29 to take stock of the law and order situation after the frequent bomb blast in the city.
