Judicial remand of Raja Bhaiya extended till Aug 23
Kanpur, Aug 21: The judicial remand of independent Uttar Pradesh MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, his father Udai Pratap Singh and an MLC in a Pota case has been extended till August 23 by a Pota court here.

Uttar Pradesh MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, his
father Udai Pratap Singh and an MLC in a Pota case has been
extended till August 23 by a Pota court here.
District and sessions judge Shailendra Sexana who is also
designated Pota court judge extended the remand.
While Raghuraj Pratap Singh was remanded in Kanpur
district jail, his father Udai Pratap Singh was brought from
Pratapgarh district jail. MLC Akshay Pratap Singh was not
present at the time of hearing.
The district government counsel, in an application, said
the presence of Akshay Pratap Singh was not necessary
Udai Pratap Singh moved an application urging the court to allow his detention till August 23 in Kanpur district jail which was allowed by the judge.
