Kolkata film makers to feature in Indo-British Filmfest
Kolkata, July 02: Celluloid ventures of two Kolkata-based film makers -- Bikramjit Gupta and Sanjeet Chowdhury -- would be screened at an Indo-British Film Festival in the UK.

Gupta's 'Laden Is Not My Friend' and Choudhury's 'Painter's Equilibrium' have been selected for the 0110 Indo-British Digital Film Festival from more than 200 entries from across the country, British Council sources here said.
The films would be shown country-wide in July and August along with 20 films from the UK in a seven-city tour. Gupta's film, inspired by the 9/11 incident and portraying Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden's mission, got rave reviews from the selectors, they said.

Choudhury, an ad film maker with the eclectic group,
portrays an abstract theme in his two-and-half minute film.
The festival's fringe section 'Film Cafe' would also have
a number of entries from the country, the sources added.
The film festival would be held in Kolkata from August
six to nine followed by a workshop on digital film making,
they said.
