Jaipur, June 14: Expressing confidence of winning the year-end assembly elections with “clear cut and comfortable margin” routing the ruling Congress in Rajasthan the BJP today
announced to deploy more than four lakh party workers for the polls.
Arrangements are being made to ensure deployment of party
workers in all the polling booth areas in the 200 assembly
constituencies, senior BJP leader Lalit Kishore Chaturvedi
told reporters here today.
The party workers to be deployed polling booth-wise will be trained in their respective areas in August, Chaturvedi said.
“Nobody is unhappy in the party and BJP stands united to take on the Congress in the coming elections,” he said.
The party is also preparing a work plan to associate those sections of the society which were non-political but had sympathy with the party's cause, state vice-president Omkar Singh Lakhawat said.
The party has also started listing full-time workers who will be active throughout the poll campaign, he said.
