Indore, July 27: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today said his government would table a bill providing enhanced reservation to other backward classes in the monsoon session of the state assembly. "Government has sought the opinion of advocate general on whether it is possible to implement the decision by promulgating an act or not", he told reporters at the airport here. Commenting on non-disbursement of grains under Public Distribution System (PDS) for people above poverty line (APL), Singh, reacting to a recent reported remark by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said grains meant for APL persons were costlier as compared to the open market rates. Singh claimed during his tenure targets set by the planning commission for various schemes were achieved at the rate of 90-100 per cent. Bureau Report.
