Jaipur, Apr 21: The Rajasthan Truck Transport Operator Union today said that if its charter of demands were not met by the state government it would soon stop supply of petrol and diesel. On the eight successful day of its strike, the spokesman of Rajasthan Truck Transport Operator Union said that the sales tax could be reduced by the state government and the national assurance companies be directed to provide vehicle insurance to truckers especially under the third party act.

The Union leaders burnt an effigy of the union surface transport minister B C Khanduri in the transport Nagar area, he said.

The spokesman also announced to start a fast-unto-death by five members led by Ved Bhushan Sethi, its president, from April 24, if the demands were not conceded.
