Washington, Aug 10: Security for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has been further tightened amidst mounting intelligence reports that militants have vowed to kill him for supporting the United States in its war against terrorism. Unprecedented security measures have been ordered for the president, who is now being guarded exclusively by the Army's Special Services Group as intelligence mounted on threat to his life, The Washington Post on Saturday quoted Pakistani officials as saying.

The measures come amidst a series of militant violence on western and Christian establishments including Friday's attack on a hospital in Taxila that killed five people.
