Lok Sabha polls in Delhi entering the last phase, people in
the capital are in for a starry treat, with a host of
bollywood and television personalities being roped in by both
BJP and Congress to muster votes for them.
In a virtual race to bring in the maximum number of
stars, BJP has called in actors Dharmendra, Hema Malini,
Shatrughan Sinha and Suneil Shetty, while Congress has
enlisted the help of Zeenat Aman, Asrani, Nagma and Namrata
Shirodkar in the campaigning.
Meanwhile, a bunch of actors from the daily soap `kyunki
saas bhi kabhi bahu thi', the on-screen relatives of BJP's
candidate from Chandni Chowk Smriti Irani, could be seen
rooting for her in the capital on may eight, the last day for
campaigning.
Attempts are being made to have actors from the serial, including Irani's `saas' (mother-in-law) in the serial, Apra Mehta, who has also joined BJP, and Ronit Roy, who plays Mihir virani, campaign for her.
