New Delhi, Sept 30: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today held a meeting with top officers of the intelligence bureau and state police and held discussions on internal security issues.
The meeting, which took place before the Prime Minister addressed the annual conference of directors general and Inspectors General of Police here, was attended by deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, ministers of state for home I D Swami and Vidyasagar Rao. At the 30-minute meeting, which was also attended by IB director K P Singh and directors general of state police forces including Delhi Police Commissioner R S Gupta, steps to deal with security issues in a "real time-frame" were also discussed, the IB chief said.
