New Delhi, Jun 02: Asserting that the BSP-BJP coalition in Uttar Pradesh was stable despite withdrawal of support by Ajit Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal, BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today said the Mayawati government will prove its majority "as and when required." "We have enough numbers on our side. The government in Uttar Pradesh is stable and there is no danger to it," Naidu told reporters here when asked about the political developments in the state. He said the Mayawati government had proved its majority on the floor of the state assembly and subsequently much more strength had been added to it with several MLAs breaking away from the Congress and joining it. "Some more MLAs from other parties are keen to support us. Things will be clear in the next two to three days," Naidu said, adding "we are confident that as and when required the government will prove its majority." The BJP chief said the "frustrated opposition" will not succeed in its attempts to topple the state government. Bureau Report
