Bhopal, Nov 17: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today said that the parameter for personal defamation could not be money and this was the reason why he had filed a criminal case against Uma Bharti. Singh was talking to some newsmen after filing the defamtion case against Uma in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate.
On the fact that political allegations and counter allegations were a common feature before the polls, Singh said ''Uma has called me bhrastha and beiman, which is a very serious allegation''
''I have been greatly perturbed by the personal level allegations and that is why I have filed a criminal case against her. Singh said his advocate and former advocate general would brief the media in this connection this evening.
