New Delhi, June 09: CBI has arrested three government officials for allegedly demanding and accepting illegal gratification in separate cases. Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), Vasco, Goa was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant for issuing licence under the provisions of labour laws, a CBI spokesman said.

In the second instance, CBI arrested an assistant foreman, ordinance factory staff college, Ambajhari, Nagpur for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 2,000 for allowing the smooth conduct of catering business, he said.

CBI arrested a superintendent of mines, currently holding charge of sub-area manager, Kolar, Pimpri mines, Wani (north area), western coal fields for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 for an official favour, he added.
