Ranchi, Feb 21: The All Jharkhand Students' Union (AJSU-Sudesh Mahato), a coalition partner in the Babulal Marandi government, today said it was ready to mediate between the chief minister and five rebel ministers demanding a change of leadership in the ministry. The chief minister has expressed his desire to talk to the rebel ministers and now it was their turn to reciprocate, AJSU vice-president Praveen Prabhakar told a news agency here. Stating that the party was keen to mediate in the interest of the NDA and Jharkhandis, he urged Marandi to convene a meeting of all partners of the coalition. No minister should be ignored if he had any grievance, Prabhakar said adding, "however, any such problem should be discussed among the NDA and not publicly." The five ministers, four of Samata Party and one belonging to JD (U) are demanding Marandi's ouster on charges of rampant corruption in the administration. Bureau Report
