Bangalore, Nov 04: Karnataka cabinet today rejected the demand of forest brigand Veerappan to send minister for agro processing Raju Gowda as an emissary to negotiate the release of JD(U) leader H Nagappa.
Minister of Information Kagodu Thimappa told reporters here that there was no question of sending a minister or a legislator as an emissary.
The government, he said, had no objection to sending Tamil activist Kolathur Mani as an emissary if he secured bail.
Mani is facing five cases, including two in the Karnataka High Court.
