BPCL to set up two new bottling plants
Tirucharapalli, Oct 11: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) would be commissioning new bottling plants at Bangalore and Vijayawada.
Tirucharapalli, Oct 11: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) would be commissioning new bottling plants at Bangalore and Vijayawada.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, BPCL’s regional LPG manager (southern region) P Ananda Sundaresan said the new plants would be in the capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum each and were expected to go into stream before June 2004.
The company, which pioneers in production and marketing of LPG gas under the name Bharat Gas, was hosting nine bottling plants across the region comprising the four southern states and the union territory of Pondicherry.
These plants were producing over five lakh 14.2 kg cylinders every day. Bureau Report
