Indo-Pak talks on Dec 18 for re-establishing rail links
Chennai, Dec 06: Union Minister of State for External Affairs Digvijay Singh said today that talks for revival of rail links between India and Pakistan would be held in New Delhi on December 18.
Chennai, Dec 06: Union Minister of State for External Affairs Digvijay Singh said today that talks for revival of rail links between India and Pakistan would be held in New Delhi on December 18.
"India has invited Pakistani officials to the country to finalise the modalities for re-establishing rail links between both the countries. Discussions will be held at New Delhi on December 18," he told reporters at Chennai airport.
Expressing satisfaction over several confidence building
measures announced by both countries, Singh said he was happy
over the progress in the `normalisation of relationship
between both the countries`.
The air links between India and Pakistan would be
restored from January one, he added.
