Kuala Lumpur, Mar 23: Across town, the Jaguar racing team also presented their drivers Mark Webber and Christian Klien and a scale-model of their new racing machine at a press conference. Jaguar racing manager Tony Purell was confident the team will perform well at the weekend race.
"This year, I have to say that I am most satisfied with the new R5. I thought the Australian race showed Jaguar, if you like, punching above our weight and to be honest, I was a little disappointed that the press dealt more on the bad performance of our competitors than the positive performance of Jaguar. I am sure this weekend will see achange in that," Purell told reporters. The Honda racing team is also confident of a good showing.

"I think here the target is to become like a top three rows in the qualifying and aiming obviously top three in the race," Honda race driver Takumi Sato said after a meet-the-fans session in Kuala Lumpur.

In other parts of the city, mock-ups of the race cars, including crowd favourite - the red Ferrari - were put up at strategic locations.

Fans also queued up to buy tickets for the race which starts on Friday (March 19) with practise laps and qualifying laps on Saturday (March 20).
