INLD releases manifesto in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Nov 17: Attempting to gain foothold in Rajasthan politics with the December 01 assembly election, the Indian National Lok Dal today announced several incentives for farmers in its party manifesto, including better irrigation facilities, support price and insurance for crops.

"The INLD would give top priority to providing irrigation water and faster socio-economic growth of rural areas," state convenor Ajay Singh Chautala said, releasing the party
manifesto here.
Stressing his party's slogan "chasme ka nishan hoga, mukhya mantri kisan hoga ( a farmer will be the chief minister)", Chautala said, the party would extend a better education facilities, avenues of employment, upliftment of sports and unemployment allowance. Om Prakash Chautal led INLD, which is in power in Haryana, promised to develop infrastructure in Rajasthan to provide a boost to trade and industry.
The party also promised pensions to all citizens aged 60 years and above, widows and handicapped of Rs 200 per month
The manifesto also supported strengthening panchayati raj institutions by giving more financial powers to elected representatives. Bureau Report
