New Delhi, Sept 30: After the 11-day suspense over his status, Human Resource Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi will resume office tomorrow. "I will go to office tomorrow," Joshi told reporters hours after Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee returned his resignation submitted to him in the wake of the Rae Bareli court order deciding to frame charges against him on the Babri Masjid demolition case.

Joshi will also be embarking on a foreign trip to attend the General Assembly of Unesco in a couple of days.

Maintaining that in politics there should be a balance between governance and ethics, he said without ethics, politics would lead to "jungle raj".
The minister described the case as "politically motivated" and said he will fight it legally even if he had to approach the Supreme Court.

He, however, parried other questions about the attitude of senior party colleagues, the question of his becoming party president and whether he would quit if charges are framed against him.
