Bhubaneswar, Aug 06: It is not uncommon for politicians to nurture an ambition of becoming the Chief Minister. But this one has come strikingly close, albeit in reel life.Arabinda Dhali, Orissa Minister for Cooperation, Transport and Commerce, is donning the mantle of Chief Minister in a forthcoming Oriya film, Nari Akhire Nian (Fire in Woman's Eyes), being directed by Sanjay Nayak. Mr. Dhali (46), who migrated to the country from Bangladesh as a child, was first elected to the Orissa Assembly as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from the tribal-dominated Malkangiri constituency in 1992. This is his third term as legislator and first as Minister. He has been a Minister in the Naveen Patnaik Government since the BJD-BJP alliance came to power in March 2000.
