Mumbai, Aug 22: Writer Jessica Hines has gone back to London. The lady has been a close friend of actor Aamir Khan and has lived with him in his Bandra appartment for the last one-and-a-half-years. It is understood she is expecting a baby soon.
According to close associates of Hines, the child’s father is Aamir. There was a fallout between the two after the pregnancy which prompted Hines to go back to London. Hines, who has told a film magazine that the baby is only hers, spoke to our London correspondent, while she was busy shopping in a city mall. When asked if she will make Aamir go through a paternity suit, she said, “I have absolutely nothing to say on the matter.”
Her literary agent Jane Turnbull said, “Jessica has nothing to say to anyone now on this subject. She has a book to finish and is working to get it to her publisher on time.” She said not everything being said about her is true. Hines has been visiting Mumbai very often for her book commissioned by Bloomsbury on Amitabh Bachchan and was in touch with Aamir when he was in London for some post-production publicity for Lagaan. After Aamir’s divorce, she moved in with the actor. She organised the 4th Clerkenwell Literary Festival in London where Aamir gave a small performance and even sang the evergreen Chaundvi Ka Chand. Aamir Khan was unavailable for comments. His father Tahir Hussain said, “I know nothing about the issue and don’t want to comment on it.” Bureau Report
