New Delhi, Dec 22: A Delhi Court today remanded a prime accused in the Swami Shradanand College lecturer murder case in 14-day judicial remand.
A duty magistrate remanded accused Ashok Malik in judicial custody and sent him to Tihar Jail. Malik an ex-student of the college was arrested by the Delhi Police yesterday from his native village Jind in Haryana.
M N Singh was shot dead in a broad daylight on Friday.
Police in its fir alleged that Malik had killed Singh as the lecturer was instrumental in his rustication from the Delhi University. Singh had caught Malik cheating in an examination. After the incident Malik had threatened Singh of dire consequences, police said.

Singh had complained against Malik to the university authorities resulting in his expulsion last year, the police FIR said. Bureau Report
