RBI receives applications of about Rs 9,600 cr for state loans
Mumbai, May 13: Reserve Bank of India has received applications worth about Rs 9,600 crore through the on tap sale of 6.40 per cent state development loans, except that of Chhattisgarh, as against a target of Rs 6,747 crore.
Mumbai, May 13: Reserve Bank of India has received applications worth about Rs 9,600 crore through the on tap sale of 6.40 per cent state development loans, except that of Chhattisgarh, as against a target of Rs 6,747 crore.
The apex bank has retained applications aggregating around Rs 7,900 crore, which includes excess subscription upto 30 per cent, RBI said in a release here today.
The on tap sale of six states -- Assam, Bihar, Nagaland, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and Tripura -- was closed today while that of other 21 states was closed yesterday.
