Raje comes down from podium to receive Gehlot to swearing-in
Jaipur, Dec 08: Leaving behind the bitterness of the acrimonious electioneering, Vasundhara Raje today came down from the podium to personally receive outgoing Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot to her swearing-in ceremony.

Minutes before she was to be administered the oath of office by Governor Kailashpati Mishra, Raje was told that Gehlot has arrived to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
She rushed down from the podium to receive him and herself escorted him to his seat in the front row.
It was for the first time that the two came face-to-face after the fierce electoral battle.
Gehlot was sent special invitation by Raje and he responded with grace.
