CPI-M demands resignation of Advani and Joshi
New Delhi, June 01: The CPI-M today demanded the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani and Human Resource Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi following the filing of supplementary chargesheet by the CBI against them in the Babri Masjid demolition case.

the filing of supplementary chargesheet by the CBI against them in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
"In the context of the CBI filing a supplementary
chargesheet in the special court at Rae Bareli naming Deputy
Prime Minister L.K. Advani and Human Resources Development
Minister Murli Manohar Joshi as accused in the Babri Masjid
demolition case, their continuance in the Union ministry is
untenable. They should immediately quit the ministry", the
polit bureau of the CPI-M said in a statement here.
