Israel rules out al-Qaeda in Mike`s Place bombing probe
Jerusalem, June 03: Israeli police has ruled any involvement by Osama bin Laden`s al-Qaeda terror network inthe April 30 suicide attack against a popular Tel Aviv pub, police sources said.
Jerusalem, June 03: Israeli police has ruled any involvement by Osama bin Laden`s al-Qaeda terror network inthe April 30 suicide attack against a popular Tel Aviv pub, police sources said.
The investigation also revealed that an Italian
journalist had given the two British bombers` a ride to the
West Bank and then to the Gaza Strip, where they obtained the
explosives for their operation, the sources said.
The journalist, a woman whose name was not revealed, was
not aware that the two men she drove were about to commit a
suicide attack.
Three people were killed when a British bomber blew
himself up at the entrance of Mike`s Place, becoming the first
foreign suicide bomber since the beginning of the Intifada.
