New Delhi, Oct 23: The comprehensive insurance law is likely to get further delayed with the government saying that it would not come up in winter session of Parliament. "The bill is unlikely to come up in this session (winter). It would be possible only in Budget session," N S Sisodia, secretary (Financial Sector) told reporters on the sidelines of the Corporation Bank award ceremony.

However, he said the proposed comprehensive bill formulated by Law Commission has been cleared at the official level.
The draft bill is now to be cleared by Finance Minister and the Cabinet, he said.
