The wait ends! Badrinath shrine opens post winter break

New Delhi: One of the most popular and revered shrines of India situated in the Himalaya, stay closed during winters.

According to reports, the sacred Badrinath shrine was reopened with vedic rituals. It is reported to have opened during early hours today.

Around 8,000 devotees visited on the first day, he said.

The annual pilgrimage has begun and will go on until next winter season.
