The Indian navy is planning to hold separate exercises with US and South Korean warships this week in the Arabian Sea, a top navy official said Tuesday.
"US warships are already in the north Arabian sea and we are planning a joint naval exercise with them. I however have no details as to which US warship is participating in the exercise," he said.
The official said the Indian navy was planning a similar exercise with three South Korean warships beginning on Friday.
"The Korean ships are on a goodwill visit and we will take this opportunity for a small naval exercise."
