Etawah Oct 27: Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today launched various schemes worth Rs 15.34 crore under the National Slums Improvement Scheme in Etawah, Bharthana and Jaswantnagar.

He said development of the entire state was his priority and despite sluggish financial condition of the state, all out efforts would be made for solving problems of farmers, traders and youth.
Yadav, on his first visit to his home district after taking over as chief minister for the third time, was addressing a mammoth public meeting organised to felicitate him at the exhibition ground here today. The Chief Minister said that the government was seriously considering to provide jobs to the B.Ed. and BTC trainees and added that his government would make all efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Thanking Rashtriya Kranti Party chief Kalyan Singh and RLD supremo Ajit Singh for helping in formation of his government, Yadav said his government has the unique distinction of support of every section of the society.
Besides launching development schemes worth Rs 15 crore, Yadav during his visit of Etawah also distributed Kisan Old Age Pension cheques to 1,000 eligible beneficiaries at the rate of Rs 900 each for six months from April to October, 2003 totaling Rs 16.20 lakh.
