New Delhi, Sept 09: India and Israel today discussed the need for closer cooperation amongst all countries in the global war against terrorism. The issue of terrorism figured prominently in the 75-minute-long talks external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha had when he called on visiting Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon here. Developments relating to the Middle East peace process came up during the parleys, official sources said. They also discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation and also explore the possibility of joint ventures in various areas, including information technology, the sources said. Bureau Report
