Jaipur, July 10: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today launched a state-level education awareness campaign being conducted by the Rajasthan madarsa board for bringing Muslim students to schools. Complementing the board for starting the two month campaign Gehlot said no child should remain illiterate in any corner of the state.

He also released a poster exorting students to go to school.

Madarsa board chairman Allaudin Azad said Madarsas which used to impart only religious education in the past were now adapting themselves to newer needs of technical and professional education in the society.


Board secretary and convenor of the campaign Azam Baig said the campaign had been divided into three phases. To make the campaign success education awareness committees would be set up in different parts of the state.
