Blair, Mandela and Clinton celebrate centenary of Rhodes trust
London, July 03: British prime minister Tony Blair, former U.S.President Bill Clinton and former South African president Nelson Mandela joined hundreds of former Rhodes scholars today to celebrate the centenary of the scholarships.

scholars today to celebrate the centenary of the scholarships.
Around 1,000 former Rhodes scholars, including British
airways chief Rod Eddington and former NATO commander gen.
Wesley Clark, gathered in the medieval surroundings of
Westminster hall in parliament for the event.
The event also celebrates the creation of the Mandela
Rhodes foundation - named after the former president of South
Africa and dedicated to supporting aid and education in South
Africa and the rest of the continent.
