Sultanpur, June 06: To counter the trishul diksha' programme of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Magsaysay award winner Sandeep Pandey today distributed copies of Bhagwad Gita at a function here today. Over 200 people were given the copies, Anup Kumar, district president of Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, which had organised the function, told reporters.

"We are trying to counter the aggressive Hinduism propagated by VHP with the love and compassion shown by Bhagwad Gita", Pande said.
