Congress disappointed by bye-elections loss: Sonia
Bangalore, Sept 30: AICC president Sonia Gandhi today said the Congress is disappointed for losing bye-elections for two Lok Sabha seats and cause for the defeat would be looked into.

"We are disappointed", Gandhi told reporters here when her reaction was sought on arrival by a private jet from Indore.
"But I have already asked one of my senior colleagues to look into the reason for our defeat", she said.
The party suffered a reverse when it lost bye-elections for Lok Sabha seats of Ernakulam in Kerala and Solapur in Maharashtra.
Gandhi was here to visit houses of farmers' who committed suicide in Kanakapura and Channapatna taluks of Bangalore rural district. Karnataka witnessed a wave of farmers' suicides in recent weeks.
