Srinagar, Nov 20: The Hurriyat Conference executive council met here today to chalk out the strategy for future talks with Ram Jethmalani's Kashmir Committee scheduled to arrive here tomorrow, sources in the separatist conglomerate said. The meeting which lasted for more than three hours, assumes significance in view of JKLF chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik's outburst against Jethmalani after his release from jail on November 11.
The sources said that the seven-member Hurriyat executive held extensive deliberations on whether to continue dialogue with the Kashmir Committee in the wake of Malik's charges that Jethmalani was adopting double standards. Shah's claim that police carried out custodial killings has proved that all the massacres from Wandhama to Kaluchak were orchestrated by Indian agencies to defame the Mujahideen, the statement added.
