New York, Nov 08: Dell Inc.'s most recent quarter could boost hopes of a corporate technology spending jump spurred by Cisco Systems Inc.'s earnings and the latest GDP numbers, analysts say. If Dell, the world's largest personal computer company, indicates that large corporations have plans to buy more computers for their employees, it would confirm those earlier reports of a technology spending recovery, analysts said.

The Round Rock, Texas , company reports earnings on Nov. 13 for the quarter ended in October.

Dell's reliance on corporate spending has been overshadowed in recent quarters by the consumer market, where demand for notebook computers has helped it grow. But even as Dell becomes known by consumers for digital music players, flat-panel televisions and inexpensive computer printers, PCs still account for nearly 80 percent of its revenues.
