Kolkata, Dec 14: In a bid to resolve the contentious players` contract issue, the six-member panel of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Friday held a lengthy tele-conference as a follow up to a meeting between Indian Cricket Board and top ICC representatives early this week.
BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya, who is also a member of the ICC panel formed to go into the ICC`s contract issue, participated in the 90 minute tele-conference though he refrained from divulging any detail of the discussion.
However, according to sources, the discussion was mainly a follow up of the grounds covered during Monday`s interaction when the Indian board had conveyed to the ICC representatives the concerns of top Indian stars on the Players` Terms for the World Cup.
On Monday Dalmiya and players` representative Anil Kumble had a lengthy meeting with Justice Ahmed Ebrahim of Zimbabwe, who is also a member of the ICC panel and Dave Richardson of South Africa, General Manager (Cricket) of ICC. Bureau Report
