Jaipur, Jan 25: Security has been beefed up for Republic Day celebrations in the capital and other parts of the state tomorrow, police sources said today. Constant vigil is being maintained at all vantage points and the SMS Stadium in Jaipur, where Governor Madan Lal Khurana would unfurl the national tricolour at a state-level function, has been taken over by the security agencies, sources said.
Khurana will also honour 34 persons, including police personnel and civil servants, for their meritorious and excellent services by presenting them medals and prizes, an official release said.
